Most of what you see in the pictures posted above by "Numi" is obvious tampering. I have added a detail section with a Yellow arrow showing the build-up of surplus Grey plastic as the tampered axle-end has been run through the wheel, a clever faker would have cleaned this away before any attempt to sell this model, but then we can see the actual axle-end is 'chewed' (Blue arrow), through the use of pinchers or pliars to reduce the size, allowing for an easier entry into the wheel, but of course it still has to retain the wheel, so the reduction is limited to the point where the original wheel will be pulled-off with force and the replacement wheel (in this case a nice Grey plastic design), will be pushed on gently while being turned, causing plastic inside the wheel to build-up and exit around the outside, back to the Yellow arrow, tampering of the highest order!

Wow Numi that looks unplesant this wheel swop. 100% feedback does not mean that they do not make fraud. If you are stupid enough to buy these models for high money, you might not have the knowledge to see the fraud. In my early collecting years 1999 to 2004 I could have bought something like this. But a clever fellow collector told me that never buy expensive wheel variations online unless you trust the seller 100%. So in my opinion Numi is doing a great job! and I am sure that this seller is aware of what they sell. Go get them Numi

This single blurry picture makes this axle end out to be hideous, yet the second clearer picture of it shows a normal spun axle end. Sometimes, unless the model can be held in your hand, different views develop from similar collectors.
I don't see these GPW as being drilled Motorman, there is not the gap at the top needed to slip the riveted axle end through this tire. We have seen the size of the hole needed to shove axle ends through right on this Forum, and believe me, these holes are not enlarged at all. If that method is used, the tires are shot and wobble so bad on the finished product, even a new collector would send the Fake back to this Seller. The collector who paid $168 for this one will know what he has bought when it is in hgand, so Please check for his comments about the Toy.
The scuffing around the hub of this plastic tire is from the spinning axle riveting process at the factory, which was fast and furious during production of these Toys. Not every axle was hit perfectly, some were hit way too hard, and others barely done. kwakers

Yes Dick, it was me (GHOSTHUNTER), who posted the extra detailed picture of Numi's original and I take on-board all you say about the wheel-axle notes in my comments, but having witnessed many examples of 'Models of Yesteryear' models, having been subjected to the same type of wheel tampering, I stand by my comments and observations for the pictured example.

The Feedback is in on the two amber window Wreckers, and also for the #27 Low Loader in blue, but not on the GPW York Freightmaster as of yet. The other BPW York versions have had good Feedback from their Buyers, so more sleuthing will be needed on the model in question Numi and Ghosty. The two tone Hatra Feedback is also not posted as of yet, so the Forum now has some homework to do while studying Numi's two old nominees here.
