I just found one of these in September of 2013 from an E Bay friend, so I know they are here in America guys. I did not pay a premium, so as with any base casting that cannot be seen when on display or being sold, they may just be overlooked. Sounds like a swap with Jason could be in order here! ;) kwakers

Dan can you clarify what you are referring to when you are talking about the "raised panel" for the less experienced RW collectors to know what you are talking about . Thanks.

Alex. The raised panel was added to the doors so the 'Denver' decal could be replaced with the taller 'Shield' decal.

Many thank Nick for clarifying that.

Are you sure about that? I think only one model is known carrying a shield decal. Isn't it more likely that the panel was raised in order to simplify application of the DENVER decals or to make the casting ready for machine-applied labels?
