since we are inquiring about die numbers...im sure it was talked about before but i dont remember...so what is the meaning of the M on the base of the 25 bedford petrol tanker?

'M' for 'Multiuse' componoent. That casting can be used for other versions maybe?

i think this base was unique to this model...its not like the #32 superfast tanker base that can fit the #10 pipe truck and #51 8 wheel tipper

I think you are right Dan, I can not think of any other version of this casting, so it is a mystery, oh! there you go...'M' for 'Mystery'... :lol:
