Well I managed to pick up a reasonable MX version recently with a silver trailer .... just need the gold trailer version now BUT ....

A Big MX (BM2) with a YELLOW trailer, I presume genuine for the price being asked ????? Is this a known variation?
It also has clear windows and red winding gear.

Interesting, can't read the description but looks like the asking price is because of the orange tractors not the yellow trailer as you have pointed out.
Yes yellow trailers were used but not many of them. By all accounts this series wasn't a very good seller. So my take on it would be that they ran out of gold and silver trailers and knowing the series was to be axed just used some regular trailers until all the sets were used up.
The sets came with red or blue winches.

390 Euro (about £305) plus postage is a bit steep I reckon. I don't see it selling at that price.
I slipped in an offer of 100 Euro (about £78) to test the water but as I expected, the offer was declined.
I notice that there is a large gap between the cab and grill on the offside and the top of windscreen looks strange.

Rivits look good but I have never seen any windows not green tinted used on these King Size D series so those windows could be scratch built by a Lesney model maker or clear moulded units that would be available to Jack Odell´s R & D department. I have no problem viewing this as a colour trial or sales sample - green tinted windows dont particularly go well with metallic blue paint so suspect this is very early issue -if more than 1 box print code then this should be 1st run box print code

Does the tractor in the centre have the larger front wheels or is it just the picture

Is that a Big MX in K20 colours or is it a standard K20 with Big MX tractor chocks ?
Can't tell if it has the winch casting from the angle of pic.

Usually, it was always the blue tractor but it can also appear red.
