I've just been back into 2 of my existing auctions - 2 things to mention!

1. Editing is really easy, I've stuck more pics on and added to the descriptions - piece of cake.

2. This business of the listing time changing as soon as a bid is placed - we sellers aren't reading things properly
When selecting an end time you have 2 options - Duration or Custom. I bet we all selected 'Duration' and set it at 1 week? It does state underneath that 'If the time left is greater, your item's duration will be reduced to 3 days once it receives it's first bid'

I imagine that selecting a 'Custom' end time will solve the problem and will have a bash this evening and let you all know. I'll also try editing the 2 auctions that have received bids and let you know how that goes. I'd do it now but I have to pick the good lady up from work :D

There are many options and settings with that particular auction system that needs to be adjusted, but atleast it is now a proper and secure system :)

However the currencies must be updated from time to time (manually) as by default they are the values from 2007.

More stuff on from me..Selling a similar item is a bit of a pain as you have to keep signing in to Paypal but I think that may be being sorted out...

Another thing Nick, what about shrinking all these categories down to more useful ones?

I have disabled the 3 day feature, I guess the idea of the reset to 3 days once a bid has been placed is supposed to prevent last minute sniping, The auction constantly resets to 3 days every time a bid is placed until no more bids are forthcoming for the three days and the auction ends, I suppose it is probably a good idea but kind of confusing, auctions for very desirable stuff could probably run for weeks until the three days run out.

Absolutely much better, but my point was of having Matchbox, Corgi, Dinky, etc. related categories on main listing and anything else under 'Other' or 'Misc'. I'm sure that way it will be absolutely perfect. Thanks Nick ;)
