Shocking underhand tactics by Ebay! Which comes as no surprise to anyone!!!!

The above mentioned auction does NOT look like the Old Mill stock.

Speaking of Ebay, another one came up here I had never heard about. Young couple bought an excavator to help build their house - cost around 6-7000. Paid by Paypal and thought all was well when owner said he would deliver it - he never did and it was a huge scam. Couple thought aah well all ok as we paid by Paypal and covered _ WRONG !!!! It was classed as a business item and they never got a penny back. Apparently some small clause at the bottom of the Paypal agreement wipes some business purchases so be warned yet once again about this rip off company.

Your last Post needs a separate Post in our E Bay section Moyboy with a Giant E Bay Pay Pal beware as it's heading. Like many other stories that go unheard about non-successful Pay Pal refunds, our Forum needs to be aware of what can happen to any of us. Once that topic has been started there, I can also add a story about the non-delivery of an automobile by a Broker selling it on E Bay. The Broker collected the cash for the car and delivery charges the Buyer agreed to, and a month later the owner wanted to know where the Buyer's money was. The Seller was a friend of his who now had both his car and the $3000 for it. E Bay refused any action at all on the matter because they 'could not get involved in a dispute that was only $3000', even though the entire transaction was done right through Pay Pal while following all of E Bay's rules.
We collectors may choose to Buy more than Toys on E Bay at times, so it is best that we know how to protect ourselves. Sometimes our faith in guarantees may be overshadowed by the fine print that we could not read. kwakers

IFYI: I have made a couple of attempts at contacting DaveS, requesting him to post an update, but to no avail (and I see that he's still not picked up the PM I sent to him at the beginning of last month).

Maybe the "grind" was too much for him to handle at the Old Mill. Perhaps they are keeping his nose to the Mill Stone with other projects. Or maybe he spends all his time Milling about the water cooler and ignoring his emails.

Link.
What a shame that the sellers have not gone to the trouble of posting more than one photograph of each model and that there is no information on the variations.
