Taking pictures of your screen will give you a fairly acceptable image but it will be displaying the 'Moire' pattern over your subject. Your electronic camera will take a picture of the panels seperate lines of pixels, which when combined with the imaging chip, (with it's own pixels) creates a disturbing pattern on your final image.

You will have to do a lot of trial and error to reduce this.

When saving images from the old Lefora site, where it gives you an option of...Save as type: just click on the little triangle and any saving methods will drop down, choose the JPEG if its there, or Bitmap.

A Bitmap image will save as a larger file size than JPEG.

I have a lot of saved images from the old Lefora site in a folder on my PC's and adding to it when I can.

Maybe just use Prnt Scrn or just load up the image via Google Chrome's "Inspect Element".

Hi there Racing Freak,
I am not casting aspersions on any forum members, but chances are that not all members have a PC that is operating 'Windows Vista Premium', I would imagine that several are only using 'Windows Vista Basic' and the computers with this, don't all make it clear on their keyboard how the 'Print Screen' works, yes, the KEY is there, but simply pressing it won't always...print the screen! you often have to press another KEY first, usually the 'Fn' key and while this is pressed, then the 'Prnt Sc' key.

I can't comment on Macbook computers, but I would imagine they are just a one key operation for printing the screen.

Hope this is of some help to anyone having issues with 'Prnt Sc' not working on their PC's.

Regards,
