Here is the stunning 'CORGI TOYS' gift set #16, the Ecurie Ecosse race team support transporter, I had one of these and played with it to the maximum. It came with miniature plastic tools and vice, had fantastic front wheel steering, a sliding side door and of course some Grand Prix cars.
...and here is a nice plastic copy by 'CLIFFORD'.

The Corgi Ecurie Ecosse is a wonderful toy, with lots of play value. They command good prices on ebay too. If you search for the name on youtube there's some nice film of the 1:1's. I was watching the Clifford version on ebay the other day, but the sale was ended prematurely. Perhaps there was a good offer to the seller because it is a nice and rarely seen copy.GHOSTHUNTER wrote:Here is the stunning 'CORGI TOYS' gift set #16, the Ecurie Ecosse race team support transporter, I had one of these and played with it to the maximum. Both superb and amazed that they existed and have never crossed my path before!
Re: 'CORGI TOYS' copies etc.
To myself this Jaguar looks more like a Norev than like a Corgi. Any other advices are welcome.

Is it the same Jaguar model as the one I have shown earlier in this thread on page 1...

The Clifford Ecurie Ecosse copy was relisted and realised a very healthy price:

WHAT! £598, WOW, we are collecting all the wrong models here, we should be collecting 'Friction Powered' plastic toys from Hong Kong...johnboy wrote:The Clifford Ecurie Ecosse copy was relisted and realised a very healthy price:

There were also some much higher bids which were cancelled (£1210 & £889). The bid history was private on this auction but this is a rare model and probably on the short list of a few officiandos.GHOSTHUNTER wrote:WHAT! £598, WOW, we are collecting all the wrong models here, we should be collecting 'Friction Powered' plastic toys from Hong Kong...johnboy wrote:The Clifford Ecurie Ecosse copy was relisted and realised a very healthy price:
