Hi all,
I've had a bit of a break from the Dinky and scored a few models I loved as a kid,
CIJ Shell Promo van,
Difficult to find an original, and the new Norev is virtually identical, but this is a real one I picked up from France...
CIJ BP Energol Tanker,
Wasn't until I got this I realised it was so small, about 00,
Finally the wonderful Marklin BV Aral Tanker, I wanted one really bad as a kid, but never even saw a real one till this arrived,
Cheers all!
Merry Christmas,
Chris Warr.

Great old trucks, I really like models from this era.

Hi,
Those models are great.
Is the blue one an Henschel?

To be honest I have no idea, there's no ID at all except that it's made by Marklin.

it is an MAN truck (Märklin no. 8000).

According to my MARKLIN book, 8000 was issued from 1957-61. An older version was made but the spare tire was NOT indented into the gas tank at all on the earlier one.
