Last One This Year

Post by johnboy »

I bought an old metal cabin trunk from a local auction house the other day for £10 plus charges, it had some 70's toys and board games visible but underneath there were two shoe boxes of toys. One full of Britains and Timpo figures and the other full of Matchbox and Corgi diecast. It's probably my last buy this year but there was some good models in there including this Land Rover with the T label which was a nice surprise and one that I'd been looking out for for ages.

That's a beauty, John!
Seems to be in really good shape :)

I need an update for my RW and Sf Landy fire truck, but I think especially the Sf version is not that often seen here in Germany.
So again, good job!

I'am still waiting for my last two matchbox toys this year, I hope they will arrive before christmas day. Hurry up Christmas elf!

All the best,
Linus

Please share a photo of the others that were in box with this SF57. Always fascinating to see which specific toys were collected by one child. Timpo figures are still lots of fun to collect, some are rare and worth a bit, Sci-fi like Captain Scarlet or Arabs especially in short supply today!

Nothing fantastic, but a nice end of year result. The trunk had games piled up on the right side which I removed and these were underneath. Apart from the #57 there were half a dozen regular wheels and common superfast which I've put away now. I like the artwork on the shoe box! A few models have gone into the collection and the rest will turn into some much needed hobby money via ebay :)

Nice to see some Corgi figures in amongst the Timpos - they turn up here mixed in with farm and Timpos stuff too! the #39 +40 in the SF lightest shades should find a good home easily!
