Jim and Bill, I do hope you have a good event and can take some pictures for us here on the forum. I like many other U.K. bound forum members, are unable to attend such events, so we will rely on you Guys to keep us 'Vintage British Diecast' Forum members with you 'In Spirit' and to spread the good word for us, many thanks.

Counting down the days already Jim! I would think that one of us ought to be able to get some video during assorted events at the Gathering to share via youtube. We'll just have to plan ahead. Better yet johnboy, find a way to attend!!! :D We'd love to meet you face-to-face!

I would love to bring the event to all via media. I will do my best to get some videos. Also, I would love to offer a set of the event models to one lucky winner of a drawing or whatever the majority decides. Any one want to head this up? I will ship one of each (dinner 2nd 75 and dealer model) to one winner or 1 model to each of 2 winners. It is all about the collectors after all and I understand all cannot be there in person, so we will be appreciative to have all in spirit at least.

That would be great. Maybe one day I'll get there but it would be good to see what we're missing :)

I will be there too Kay. I missed the 2014 event as plans were underway to take my niece on a trip to USA next year. She is really happy to go over to USA as long as she is with me, and although we plan on doing more tourist-related things afterwards, the initial trip is from England to Albuquerque for the Gathering. After that we head to NYC for a 3 night stay and then will head to a motel in NJ for a week to tour some of the local area. She is really looking forward to it. I think she is actually looking forward to the Gathering too, as my stories of what I do while there make her laugh and she wants to see my craziness up close. She is also going to be getting involved in me spending way too much at the auction too.

:) :D :P
