Both car and model maker are British. Who could ask for more ?
It's a really lovely toy I immediately fell in love with.
Produced from 1950 to 1953 it has a steering system using the central headlight. A clockwork motor and a break.
What is amazing is its faithful lines, its cast sharpness and that it has separate parts (grille and bumpers).
Here you will find a few pictures which can show you much more clicking on them.

Made with a plastic body to replace the metal one later as well as in 1/43 scale
Re: Mettoy : 1/72 Rolls-Royce Silver Wraith
You're right. I've got the 1/72 one in plastic. And both the 1/43 mazak and plastic.

There were only two cars in this range ,a rolls royce and a standard vanguard, the vanguard came in at least three different scales.
