What a Fairy

Post by johnboy »

This came today, £1.99 freepost :o  but why didn't anyone bid on it? It was listed in Matchbox and I know the photo is blurry but surely worth a punt. It's not mint but I'll add a hook and clean up the paint and it'll look ok.

Your initial heading title for this post Johnboy is 'Fairy Funny'...

P.S. Nice find by the way, since "Fixer" captured his Two examples, I have been looking out for them at toy fairs, but to no avail...

Ghosty.

While most late 1960 models were made in very high numbers, this one was introduced half way through 1969. It just made it into the regular wheel line up and was made in much smaller numbers than the rest of it's bedfellows. The crane wasn't even in most stores when it received a boom modification and it never even made it to some retailers before it was modified to superfast.
It might be time to start my "Bucket List."
