I'm a bit torn on this. This year has been a good one for my RW collection. I am still extremely pleased with a code 1 4b I found early on, and then there's the all-red RW 44c (but that would be for Mike and Nico to list). I also picked up some gems from Tim last month, and the then there's the white-interiored 33c I obtained via a swap with Moston100.
However, on balance, I think it has to be the silver trim 6a:

I've just double-checked it, but what you can see in the photograph is an optical illusion caused by a combination of muck, shadows and the underlying roughness of the casting in the radiator area.

For sheer volume, pristine condition models and boxes and even some hard to find/rare colors, wheels & boxes ... this is the ultimate find.

I agree its the most breath taking regular wheels find of 2014!

But sadly cannot be considered unless one of our members has managed to acquire this breathtaking collection in the past couple of weeks??

I've just double-checked it, but what you can see in the photograph is an optical illusion caused by a combination of muck, shadows and the underlying roughness of the casting in the radiator area.

This photo appears to show what appears to be the remains of a golden based bubble in the nearside crack between grille and bumper where silver paint didnt flow over whatever is underneath -perhaps a soaped Q tip to remove any muck is the best way to see if there is a complete layer of silver in the cracks rather than the apparent abscence of silver each side of the grille or likely orange paint or surprise gold that a clean will reveal! I have purchased loads of played with diecast that come with flakes of kiddy nasal debris or plasticine that needs cleaning off before i photograph it

what about king size and major pack and super king categories?

Those are covered by the two Lesney categories.

in the forum they are separated by category...unless you are trying to keep this as simple as possible...but having both found great king size models this year as well as regular wheel models...now i have to choose between one or the other

No, it's definitely silver through and through. (it's actually a bit of a rough casting and gives the impression of not having been tumbled properly. We know that the casting matches Nick's code 1 and that the silver-trimmed version is exceptionally rare. In fact, I think these are the only public photographs of this particular variation. It wouldn't surprise me if we aren't back in the realms of a late pre-production leaking out with the initial release to the shops, something which we have seen many times before and which would explain the roughness of the casting.)
