Newbie

Post by TonyfromOZ »

Hi guys as my name suggests I am Tony and I live in Brisbane Australia. I have been slowly collecting from eBay - the toy scene isn't as big over here. I guess I specialise in RW variations when I can afford them. I found this forum after trying to ascertain if a 46b Beales Bealesons van listed on ebay here in Australia was a fake. I also grow bonsai and fiddle with woodwork. I love this forum as it the same phpBB software as the bonsai forum I am a moderator on. I have already learnt quite a bit browsing the topics and look forward to learning a lot more about my hobby.

Hey Tony

Welcome mate! There are quite a few Aussies and Kiwi's on this forum. If your into regular wheels you've landed at the right place.

Cheers

Hi Tony, welcome to the forum. There's lots of knowledgable people here and a bit of fun to be had too. If you need help with any models in your collection, post away. There's an Authenticate your Toys thread on the main board. We don't generally post links to live auctions for obvious reasons unless something is unusual (perhaps a faker at work, or a rare model is in doubt, etc).

Hello Tony, a big warm welcome (actually a cold windy welcome!!) from the U.K.

Try and get some pictures of what you collect onto the forum, probably here in the 'Lounge' will be fine, or if you want to show specific models by Corgi or Dinky etc, put them in those topic areas if you can, thanks. We look forward to your postings.

Can I also take this opportunity to welcome "AJR" to the forum. He has already broken the ice with some postings. Apologies to you "AJR", if we missed your initial 'Coming Aboard' moment, welcome to the forum.
