Last of 2014

Post by Ewan »

Buying coming to an end for the year with Christmas coming up so I decided to bid on a huge lot of 120 models, which should take me until 2015 to sort through :D
At first glance 116 of them aren't particularly interesting, but the I'll show you the 4 that I was really after - I've wanted an 8a for ages to go with my 15a and 16a and as a bonus this one has the red driver. The 3 Corgi Juniors Leylands caught my attention from the off and I'll post on them in the CJ and Husky section.

This 8A looks a lot like the pale yellow version of it Ewan, making it an added premium to the lot you bought. As you go through Nick's variation table, you may find some other sleepers in that lot which do not stand out to you as a non-detail 'newer' collector of regular wheels. I have paid well for some odd but used variations as 'fillers', knowing I may or may not be able to upgrade them in my lifetime.
Thank you for the 22B and the 35A, I just got around to cataloging them in yesterday. Work is now slowing down a bit, so maybe more Toy time? :D kwakers

Don't worry - EVERY Matchbox I get is compared to Nick's guide :-)
