Tuning Key?
Tuning Key?
Maybe a daft question, but can anyone tell me more about this please? I only remember the small keys and the rocketlube. With the small keys you could remove the chassis from the base with one end of the key (and remove the axles from the chassis with the little tool at the other end I think). This one doesn't have a space for the model name so is it a specific design or possibly a blank?

Re: Tuning Key?
Hello Johnboy, this key goes into the top of the Corgi Rockets 'Sky Park' a truly awsome car park for the models allowing you to park your car on any one of 13 floors!
I never had one of these, far too expensive in my Day for my Parents!

Re: Tuning Key?
Thank's Johnboy for those links, love old adverts like that and the first one does show the 'Sky Park' but sadly not the very top where your key goes.
I never had any track for my original 'Rockets, just the cars Boo Hoo!

You're right Ghosty. Here's a picture and apparently it was a rotating key:GHOSTHUNTER wrote:Thank's Johnboy for those links, love old adverts like that and the first one does show the 'Sky Park' but sadly not the very top where your key goes.

Re: Tuning Key?
Key is often missing from Skyparks so it wont be hard to find a good home for that!
Re: Tuning Key?
So, the choice is a) buy a Skypark without the key b) Flog it on ebay. I'll go for b) (Unless anyone here has a Skypark without a key).SMS88 wrote:Key is often missing from Skyparks so it wont be hard to find a good home for that!

Re: Tuning Key?
Is that the small parking level key that goes into the side?
Not the large revolving key at the top.

Re: Tuning Key?
Yes, just looked at the image in "Johnboy's" link and it is the parking key from the side of the tower, not the revolving key when the lift is working, well spotted "CCE"CORGICROSSEYED wrote:Is that the small parking level key that goes into the side?
