Tim, I'm betting she was the buyer and you were the seller. Regardless, you were lucky. She always put a hefty mark-up on your items and moved them on ebay. It's when you're the buyer from her that problems came up. Not to mention all the lies she cranked out, the auction tampering and auction interference.

On the other hand, I had multiple problems with her as a buyer. So much so that I had to block all of her ebay user IDs. Her sins are well known and beyond defense.
It might be time to start my "Bucket List."

sure, I'll post a list with a photo of each.
I have always preferred the auction style to posting a price. Either way, most of the proceeds (much to my wife's dismay) are used to continue to finance my Matchbox addiction. (I tell her that Matchbox keeps me away from gambling and alcohol ;) ).
For me, I have always preferred volume (lots of cars), over the precious few. In other words, a shelf with 20 excellent commons is more pleasing to my eye than a shelf with one rarity.
thanks for info. on the marketplace everybody. If anything has been learned here, it is the importance of trust and honesty in the VBD forum.

Trust and honesty seems to be at the forefront on here I have been involved in a few deals as a buyer, a paymaster for for some and trade's with some others and in the process of setting up a trade now, I try to be as open as possible and quite often send/give items out long before any return trade's
I think you can work out who you can trust on here quite easily

tonight I wanted this one bad. I dug deep, but darn...just missed it:

Hey Pete, I think I'm gonna end up listing the cars on e.bay. I don't like setting prices for models, and with the auction format, I don't have to.
I promise to post a link in the forum when I do.
-yellow No.15 prime mover
-Bluebird Dauphine in metallic green
-two-tone Hatra (orange body, yellow scoop)

The image used in this auction
http://www.ebay.com/itm/301366627080?_t ... EBIDX%3AIT
was originally an auction photo at www.vintagetoysauctions.com/
trader-star is a scammer that does not own any of the items is his auctions, He is an ebay.co.uk registered seller but does not ship to the UK. He will take your money but you will not receive anything,

Google image search will show you if the image has been used on any other website. just drag and drop the image into the search box. easy peasy

I posted some replies on the 'hall of shame' thread, but without using Numi's link, I don't even know how to get to the HOS thread.

The first forum topic is 'the lounge'. the last is 'full size matchbox toys'.
I do not see the HOS in-between.
forgive if it is under my nose, but please help this novice navigate there.

Just click on the Ebay forum and the hall of shame is at the top. As its a sticky it will always remain at the top for ease of finding.
