Well, I don't profess to be an expert - just a keen amateur programmer - but I must agree.

Also as you know we have a lot of spammers trying to join, What is the best way to delete their accounts, ban by email address or ban by isp ?.
Nick
I don't allow members to join ad hoc anymore. if you go into registration settings and use your personal email - highlight the radio button for 'admin only'
You should receive an email fro every new member arrive in your email and it has 2 links - 1st one is to check who they are details - most spammers cannot answer a question correctly so that's one and the info like what country are you etc is usually gobble degook so easy to weed out. If all is ok you click the 2nd link to activate membership. Since using this I have not had one spammer through so far. I ban by email address and you would be wise to ban all generic ones as well - ok I know some use generic but everyone has an isp provided email and they have to use this to join - tough if they don't. Forums are notorious for spam as see you have a lot of members who want to sell their Chinese crap to all on here already.

If you bid on an item from Australia then the postage would be $17-80 Air Mail, but this postal charge is from 0 to 500 grammes so you could put 4 1-75 models in a small packet for the same $17-80, as that is the minimum charge by Australia Post.

They must be losing out on the stamped letters as so many people use the Email now.

Good Day,

I've registered and logged in some bids. My last visit was last week.
Now when I try to revisit the auction site I get............

ERROR 404 - PAGE NOT FOUND

Is there something I need to do to rectify this?
Is anyone else having similar problems?

Thanks for the good advice Mick. The flood of spam seems to have slowed to a trickle so maybe they are beginning to realize that they are wasting their time trying to post their junk here.
