My first custom

Post by Ewan »

First since the age of about 10 anyway! I'd just about forgotten that custom 'ideas' had been the thing that actually got me into 1-75 in the first place, and last week finally had a bash with a barrel-less 26a. I really enjoyed it, and the whole process has already taught me a good few things not to do next time so rather than fix it I'm leaving it as is. The livery which I'm sure looks a little odd to modern eyes is based on the livery my grandfather used on the trucks he ran in the 40s and 50s - grey paint must have been cheap in post-war Britain.

It looks great!!!
It's amazing how quick you learn things doing customs. I've only been doing it seriously for about a year now, but the difference from my first custom to my most current one is crazy!
Looking forward to seeing more!
