Nice Monteverdi Alex, this was one of those models that had dark glazing during 'Pre-Production', keeping it through production and getting lighter as production progressed, and you have the Tan interior, slightly less common than the Ivory interior and what a contrast the two glazing 'Tints' are, yours looking even darker than usual for that model.

Which begs the question....are there any clear glazed variants out there?

by the way have you played with the corgi rover style headlights yet

Yes Reg it was one of the first things i noticed so i had my son Dylan shining his torch on the rear parcel shelf area to light up those headlights....very impressive!!

Well I have to admit i was a little disappointed with the SCOTMODEL swapmeet last weekend, i felt there was very little to pick from this year so i was a little disappointed but I didn't leave empty handed and managed to get this lot for just under £7 in total!!

I have had better results with e bay this week with a nice Purple glazed SF#7 Hairy Hustler for £3 and a very rare clear glass version of the SF#68 Porsche for wait for it............£5!!!! and i was the only bidder !!!!!!

The Porsche was a good find Alex, You did better than me, Bought a rare yesteryear on ebay and 2 minutes after the auction ended I realised it was not the rare one after all, damn.

Thanks Nick, i now have 2 clear window SF#68's in my collection, the problem is that over the past few years i have bought dozens of light amber versions, hoping that they were clear glass!! unsuccesfully......i have dozens of #68's!!!...........not that i am complaining!!!

We RW collectors have the same problem, I have dozens of 'silver' 53a Aston Martins that turned out to be sunfaded metallic green.
