Re: red vw 1500
Today, I have sent the following e-mail to (now ex-)member 1-75*:
“Last Monday I sent you a PM bringing certain allegations to your attention and inviting you to publicly defend yourself by today (20/10/14).
You picked up the PM on Tuesday but, for whatever reason, have chosen not to enter into any kind of dialogue on the Forum defending your actions and/or refuting the allegations levelled against you.
I therefore very much regret to say that you leave me with no alternative other than to consider the aforementioned accusations proven, albeit by default (although it has to be said that the evidence against you is both considerable and compelling). As a consequence, you are hereby permanently banned from the Forum with immediate effect on the grounds that you are a faker and a fraudster.”
I strongly urge all members who frequent other boards to post links to this thread in order that other collectors do not get caught out by this person. Site Admins on other boards should be on the lookout for anyone registering or logging on from IP address 62.252.140.252 which returns a Bristol (UK) location and is a Virgin Media cable connection.
For those looking to obtain refunds for their faked items, I not yet been able to establish this person’s true name and gender (enquiries are ongoing), but would suggest that everything points to her real Christian name being Jasmine. The postal address I had for her in 2012 was: 51, Pool Road, Kingswood, Bristol, BS15 1XN, and the house does not appear to have been sold since. Her e-mail address is jasmine.flower@hotmail.co.uk - presumably yet another false surname (unless her parents really did have a cruel sense of humour!).

Re: red vw 1500
Interesting thread. Must admit I haven't really taken the time to read it properly until now.
I saw the first photo's when the thread started and never liked what I saw but I'm no expert on the regular wheels so left things alone.
Seeing those photo's of the models on the selves, it struck me that a number of the wheels looked to new for the models they were on, i.e. the models were clearly play worn but the wheels were unblemished.
As others have mentioned, to many rarities in one place.
Cheers Steve

I’m pleased to say that I have made some progress with Jasmine’s Leicester connection and have established that she moved to 6, Kenilworth Road, Wigston, Leicester, LE18 4UF in November 2013. (Given that this is very recent information, this Leicester address is probably a better one to use than the one in Bristol.)
In addition, she still has an Ebay account, but it’s not called “Walkerswalkers” anymore. Now because I’ve not had any recent contact with her (thank goodness!), Ebay won’t tell me her uersname. I would therefore be obliged if members could use this form in the hope that we can unmask her current Ebay identity. (If you don’t want everyone knowing that you’ve bought something from her recently, just send me her Ebay name and I’ll post it here on your behalf.)

I was in Leicester today and so made a small detour to the Wigston & Oadby Council offices in order to inspect the electoral register with the aim of establishing Jasmine's real name. Unfortunately there is currently no one living at No. 6 who is registered to vote.Idris wrote:I’m pleased to say that I have made some progress with Jasmine’s Leicester connection and have established that she moved to 6, Kenilworth Road, Wigston, Leicester, LE18 4UF in November 2013.

A trip to any Post Offices in the area may have revealed a name for letters or parcels going to that property or if you were lucky on the Day, look for the Postman and ask Him/Her!Idris wrote:I was in Leicester today and so made a small detour to the Wigston & Oadby Council offices in order to inspect the electoral register with the aim of establishing Jasmine's real name.
