41c Ford GT40 Base rivet question

Just checked the earliest black base thin solid wheel GT40 i have. Firstly it has no rear brace and secondly my wheel mould numbers are:

Rear left: 17 (no letter)
Rear right: 13D
Front left: 4 (no letter)
Front right: 28D

I will try to post images of the rear without brace later.

Rear Left with '17', and Front Left with '4' suggest these were sitting around waiting for their 'Partner' wheels to be fitted as '13D' and '28D' are not particularly early wheels.

I can imagine rows of axles on a workstation all with just the one wheel fitted, waiting for a fresh supply of more wheels, when they arrive and added to the single wheel on the axle, they are then fitted to the model's baseplate, but when this happens, the numbers and letter combinations tend not to be too far away from their respective positions in the Alphabet and number sequence. A model with four un-lettered wheels would be nice and early off production.

Yes i did think it was a little strange to have the lettered and unlettered mould number together on the same model however it must happen as this model is a genuine factory model with good rivets. I have attached some images of the internal rear area of the model as best i can and as you can see there is no brace to be seen. Sorry the images are a bit out of focus i have no macro setting on this phone i am using.
