Mick, what more can you tell me about the VW Beetle "Polis" car?....I dont recall ever seeing this model before.

Thanks JB i thought it was a Tenko but i couldn't find a similar example on the interweb??? Maybe i am getting to old for this. Mick please confirm the maker?

Yes it is a Tekno, those wheel hubs give it away :)

I dont usually buy tin but for £25 this Schuco 1950s set was worth having..........

Great find Mick.
If I'm not mistaken it is spring driven like the matchbox motorway, and tinplate, Hmmmm.
It must make one heck of a noise when everything is set in motion, If you get a chance set it up and get some pics, I can't be the only one who would like to see it working.

It is a spring very much like the Matchbox motorway, a design which came from Germany i believe! I will try to find space this week to see if it is complete.........

Not much diecast worth buying at indoor fleas this past weekend but came home with 3 Dinkys for a change! Wont buy many of the new Chinese Dinkys but this BMW is one of 3 or 4 that I like!

That US police car is nice. My example needs upgrading but they're quite thin on the ground. The 2CV is lovely as well. I remember buying that Siku lorry new in Germany - I really liked the recycling containers it came with!
