I have this japanese vw but have no info about it can anyone help please

The vw in question is the sf no15 in white which normally has the 137 on the doors but my example has in red
on the doors VOLKSWAGEN COLLECTORS CLUB and the sunroof is black the box is black i would post a picture
but cant get the hang of it yet.

From the picture it looks as if the 'VOLKSWAGEN CLUB' design has been printed directly onto the doors as opposed to just being a separate label, does this indicate it has been done specifically for a VW car club in Japan, whatever the outcome for the status of this model, I think it will be classed as a 'Code3', a model redecorated without permission from Lesney.

I don't think the model was given the code 3 treatment in Japan, It would be like us in the UK having a model of a datsun with "Japanese car club" tampos but written in Japanese.
Also the slots in the wheels are the larger type found on the early superfasts, The Japanese issue was a late issue so it should have the smaller slots.
I think the model and box have been paired up and did not originally come like this,
No matter though, the box and the model are both quite desirable so nothing is lost.
