Impossible to find a red dome and blue dome SF#55 Mercury Police car without factory paint defects?.
I am determined to get a totally mint example of each eventually but every one i see has some minor paint defect. Am i being too picky?

Even Georges beautiful examples have the odd defect albeit very very minor.

Thanks Mathias for your pictures of a stunning collection and those 'Tinas' are superb, such a wide choice to choose from. It does beg the question as to why so many models 'do' or 'do not' have 'Patent App For' or 'Patant No' appearing on baseplates. What was they patenting on the 'Tina' that had not already been done on other models?
Just how many patents were Lesney and Matchbox Intl dealing with over the years...?
Ghosty.

Should we not be including the Ford Sierra XR4i here too? First variations are English.
