Lots of weird things happen on the bay, sometimes intentionally and sometimes not.

On Ebayuk, the end date of the auction in conjunction with the sellers chosen postal option do produce an estimated delivery date which is viewable on the listing and assumes prompt dispatch.

So the Headline should better read "F**king Ebay" instead of "F**king Germans"!

Not really Kay the fact that the fella put in a claim after 3 days got my back up and to be honest I do have problems with German buyers, having said that some of my best customers are German and to tar them all with the same brush is wrong. Now when are you going to let us win a Football match ?

Tim,

no offence taken here!
To be honest - I also hate some of the German buyers, as they tend to complain about the smallest things! Sometimes I just want to kick their asses!
That's why I stopped selling there quite a long time ago. Actually I have some items that I would want to sell on ebay, but I'm still not sure if I really want to start with it again.

Regarding Football: I'm pretty sure that the Brits will beat us one unexpected day (maybe next year during the World Cup!?)- and I can already imagine the headlines in the UK newspapers! LOL!!

Yeah we to tend to go over the top sometimes, remember the 5-1 a few years ago. They were making DVD's , t-shirts , posters etc etc it did make me laugh. Only been to Germany once as we got the ferry to Hamburg on a 3 day piss up and to be fair every German we encountered was pleasant and helpfully, I even had a 80 year old granny offering me sexual favours down the Reepabharn for 20 euro's lol.

So was the 15 euros you negotiated worth it?

(Sorry, sorry... sometimes I just get carried away. Alan)
