Some of you may remember I had a 27c of rather uncertain colour, could have been gunmetal, could have been lilac, well it now resides with another forum member who upon receiving it described it to me as 'interesting'. In the course of the discussions on 27c colouring I offered the possibility that the silver/lilac/gunmetal Cadillacs were basically all the same colour, or at least intended to be the same colour and any differences were down to paint batches and/or environmental factors.
Well here's another funny one I got yesterday. I thought it was lilac and it wasn't until I held it to the window in an attempt to see under the bonnet for coding that I thought it was silver. And then I turned it around and it became lilac again.... Natural light isn't fantastic today but hopefully you can see the difference in these photos. There is a trace of lilac about the silver side but to be honest I only noticed it in the photo, not whilst it was in my hand.
Please note - Mike, this is not an attempt to drive you mad
Interesting 27c ?
Re: Interesting 27c ?
Sorry Ewan.
Stay away from this model.
You can not sleep, get sweats and
it makes you sick.
There is no key to these color differences.
It is a horror ...........

Hello Ewan,
anyway, it's an interesting Cadillac.
I have just one 27c, so it's hard to tell for me.
Is this model/colour known to fade in sunlight?
E. g. 53a from green to almost silver
Greetings,
