Hello Mike,
thanks for your kind post.
Green Lotus is code 8.
I'am not sure about the orange one...here is what I could find out:
Orange, plated base, yellow wheels, 12.5 x 72 and 14 x 72 tyres, decal, with guides, with rings, longer bracket. I don't know if it is a small or mixed text on the base. Hard to judge.
Could someone post a picture showing the two text variations next to each other?!
This would be helpful.

I had a second view on Nick's picture...hard to see, but I would say it's mixed text.
So it should be the same (unlisted?!) variation as yours: http://vintagebritishdiecasts.co.uk/for ... 538#p24538
And I think a third member has one?!

Yeah, thanks Motorman. It does not look like this all the time. Usually later type emergency cars were displayed before the fire station.
I think I will post some pictures in my "show us your toy room" thread, soon.
