congrats on your find George...here is mine...do you have the mercury police car with this base?
Please use a web hosting site (like photobucket) to store pictures so you can post them here, using attachments makes it hard to view the pictures when you have to scroll to see them. Seeing comparisons of models is hard to see with attachments too.

Hello Greg, yes it is always a joy to find these little variations even if you have to turn the model upside down to view the base, must be "MAD" to look for these variations

Hello Brad, no I do not have the 1st casting base on the 55d mercury, but it must be out there as it comes on all the 55d variations, another one to find

George...after i asked if you have the #55 with the 1968 mercury base...i thought...oh no the red dome light had that base...then checked mine and i have one with the red dome light and one with blue dome light...two to look for
