Re: lamborghini Miura 33c
Thanks numi.
Allright, this colour definetly does not look like a primer.
This orange shade is darker, it could fit to the orange Mustang?!
BUT: It seems this Miura is "near mint" to "mint", but the condition of the windowunit does not fit to a near mint or mint model.
Same effect for the tyres, allthouht these are easy to swap.
And what is this at the rear wheel cases? (see pics below)
I move for a repaint. But that's just my opinion.
Greetings,
Linus

Re: lamborghini Miura 33c
Yes, I agree. A very serious mismatch between the condition of the windows and the state of the paintwork.Sir_Matchbox_96 wrote:It seems this Miura is "near mint" to "mint", but the condition of the windowunit does not fit to a near mint or mint model...And what is this at the rear wheel cases?
Could the damage to the rear wheel arches be caused by prying the base off the model, thereby bending the body to such an extent that small tears were created at the rear?
Re: lamborghini Miura 33c
The play wear to the base and the wheels and the pristine condition of the paint on the body work just doesn't add up. Paint finish looks very thick also and this extends to the inner door card where you would expect to see a thin coating of paint. The rivets do not look pretty and there is too much paint within the centre of the rivets, not what i would expect to see if they were spun. I think this is a repaint IMHO.
