Another #57C Land Rover Fire Truck w/different rear panels.

pickup another 57 Land rover Fire Truck without rear brace...i noticed that the rear panels are differnt when trying to catalog them

here you can see the difference...one on the left has rear panel A the other has rear panel C...C isnt listed without rear brace...now to find one without rear brace and panel B

no one else has one of these without the rear brace...Jason? Antonin? anyone?
Please use a web hosting site (like photobucket) to store pictures so you can post them here, using attachments makes it hard to view the pictures when you have to scroll to see them. Seeing comparisons of models is hard to see with attachments too.

Antonin only had the one without a rear brace, I think the brace must have been added very early into production, Most likely the no brace variation is a pre production model.

so just the body is prepro...do you think since i have one with two different rear panels...is the third (rear panel B) out there?

I would imagine there is a B panel rear with that body casting, The bodies were cast in pairs but the interior panel could have been molded in any number.

Another rare find by eagle-eyed Brad.......kwakers has yet to check all his early base Fire Trucks for this variation without the rear brace and you now have TWO of them that are different??? Whoa :o :shock: :? That is Great!!! kwakers

Absolutely fantastic Brad. Your models have proved that from the start of production there were at least 2 different molds for the grey plastic part.
