lamborghini Miura 33c
lamborghini Miura 33c
I have acquired recently a Lamborghini Miura No.33c.I have viewed many sites regarding this car, because nowhere do I see this variation.Mine is Orange.I have looked this car over with a magnifying glass to be sure that it wasn't painted over the original paint with this color. I also have had 2 other people look this car over who paint real cars for a living. They have come to the same conclusion as myself that this is in fact original paint and it hasn't been tampered with.Just want to know if anyone has ever heard of this car being this color.
Re: lamborghini Miura 33c
It sounds potentially interesting but, before an opinion can be given, I'm sure everyone here would like to see some photographs, especially of the baseplate rivets.
Re: lamborghini Miura 33c
Yep, lots of images please especially the base rivets. Good close ups on a macro setting from as many angles as possible, Can you also try to get images of inside the wheel arches and inner doors, thanks.

Just out of interest, The image on the later superfast F box looks like it could be orange.

Re: lamborghini Miura 33c
did they make one of these in bulgaria? and if yes did they make an orange one...did the original yellow somehow change to orange from the paint chemicals and the sun mixing
Please use a web hosting site (like photobucket) to store pictures so you can post them here, using attachments makes it hard to view the pictures when you have to scroll to see them. Seeing comparisons of models is hard to see with attachments too.

Could jlight be referring to a similar Orange color specimen to Jasons? Reg-Wheels or SF jlight?

Hi all,
it's hard to judge without seeing a picture.
I sadly don't have a RW #33 Lambo in gold, so I can't say if it had an orange primer.
If so, than I would support this thesis:
Maybe this lambo just got his orange primer but no gold finish.
Similar to the SF Mercedes 300SE and the gruesome twosome, which both had an orange primer.
I have a Mercedes 300SE which is almost orange, just a few golden flakes.
And a gruesome twosome in orange is also a known variation but I don't know if this is the result of leaving out the gold paint or if this orange shade is a colour variation itself.
I'am looking forward, seeing your pictures.
Happy collecting,
Linus
