Is there another vehicle that has the same shade of tan as these cranes that I can compare it to?

I've never done the comparison, but I've always assumed that the original red and tan livery was a direct continuation of that on the 13a/b. I think that they then decided to move to orange and silver, resulting in the surplus tan bodies being paired with orange booms.

I've just compared mine (I have both the red and the orange boom versions) with a 13b. The two 30b cranes have as-good-as identical body colours but, much to my surprise I see that the tan of the 30b cranes is significantly lighter than the tan of the 13b and so Mick may be correct: the match may well be with the 50a Commer.

I have one of the 13 wreckers, and one of the commer's. I will have them out and ready for some pictures. Looks like the delivery will be on Friday, Saturday at the latest. Thanks for the information.

The 30B Tan Magirus paint seems to be on no other Mb's in the range. They seem to be a bit more yellowy as compared to the 13 Wreckers & 29 Commers.Perhaps more yellow and some off-white added to the 13 Wrecker colors to attain this oily enamel Tan.
Try comparing with some Dinky tans if possible.
