A Matchbox collectors always on the lookout for Interesting models.
I like to have a perfect order in my collection.
Therefore must have its proper code number of each model.
(lt. Nick's list)

Interesting to find a new code.
But I also understand that's a long way.

What a GREAT find. And the whole time you thought it was the darker one that was the odd-ball...nice surprise!
So this could very well be a color trail? Or maybe they just wanted to use up the John Deere color?
If in fact it IS the JD color. To me the color looks brighter than the tractor, but perhaps it's the photo?

The NAMC’s “Catalog of all Series Matchbox Models” (first edition) .....notes two shades of green body: light green and green. (If I recall correctly, Kwakers has mentioned this previously but we have yet to see a photograph showing the difference.) Nick has only one green model listed at variation code 7.

Please start a thread, Mike. We need to get this sorted out.
