1963 King Size Displays

Thanks to a good friend of mine, I was able to add these two displays to the collection (one has an orange bottom and the other has a red bottom):

Steve, these realy look superb now they are populated with models !
Very rare displays indeed which can be seen here in the january 1963 UK trade catalogue

Impressive displays, as are the Prime Movers on your other post.
Wasn't even aware of these displays until your post, so many thanks.

I never had any of the King Size or Major Pack range as a child, perhaps too expensive for my parents.
Don't even recall going to a toy shop to look at models. The few I did have came as birthday/Christmas presents.

Enjoy collecting them now and seeing your great photos just makes me want to unbox what I have and have a push around the table.

I now think the display is from late 1962 (not 1963) and this one is from 1963:

(auctioned by Graham Hamilton (Rockerton Toys) in may 2012)
