Thank you Alex for those rather reassuring words.

I suspect Naji is involved in the current war as ISIS has invaded border areas of Lebanon close to their Iraqi + Syrian captured territory. I hope he is well and safe

I too hope Naji is doing well. He's so scarce around here, he's going to become a collectable !
He is missed for sure and I do hope, he has the occasion to drop in soon.

I was wondering about him also. I would like to know that he is safe. I would love to see that BIG Matchbox display if he ended up buying it(the one that was talked about on the old forum).

The ISIS war in Iraq and Syria has penetrated the Lebanon border so their army is on a war footing keeping ISIS attacks out. I suspect Naji is fighting for his country and not in any mood for talking about toys until peace is restored in his country

Naji remains very active on ebay with activity right up until last week, buying lots and lots of action figure related stuff.

He appears very much alive and well and whilst it is very possible that Naji may have to take up arms again soon, at the moment he does not appear to be in the thick of battle.

He is still residing in the Lebanon.

Unfortunately i have not heard from him since early in the year. Sadly i would suggest that his hobby/collecting interests have moved to a different area of collecting. I would be astounded to see him back here posting as he did before, however one can only hope.

I just wish him and his family good fortune in what may turn out to be a torrid time for the people living in that region.

Good to know he is still buying toys so probably sleeping in his own home still - his Matchbox collection was so good that there was nothing much left that was significantly different to buy..........

My thoughts exactly Mick!,

Naji's Matchbox collection was utterly mindblowing and so comprehensive that it is understandible that he had reached that threshold were there was literaly nothing left for him to add to his collection that he did not already have.

Not only was his collection vast but his knowledge of the subject was equally impressive.

Definately a massive loss to the forum.
