Probably the earliest known Preproduction model. This was originally sold by Christies in 2003 as part of the Pat O'Dowd sale. He was the Project Leader for European Research & Development. I have coveted this model ever since I saw it in that catalogue, and now it's mine :D

The unique baseplate has no frame round the word Matchbox

All other Y20 Prepros have this.

Also the chassis (front/rear bumpers) mold is different.

A wonderful model, and I'm Mega pleased that I 've been able to finally add it to the collection.
