I have only seen this on the rw version with grey engine
Mathias does this one have a chrome engine or an unplated one

Hi Mathias.
The grey looks like it was applied with a brush, It's certainly not spray masked anyway.

Now that I look closer, it definitely isn't masked and sprayed.
If it were sprayed, all the little recessed areas would be filled with paint.
