I am wondering whether to delete my link to the old forum. I doubt I will go back there, especially with all the problems I am getting even trying to get in there.

Re: Two Forums
I found this page which gives instruction on how to add a sidebar.nickjones wrote:Hi Dan.
There is no sidebar to post them in but I could post them in a sticky in the lounge.

Might be useful.

Re: Two Forums
I'm keeping an eye on the downgraded Lefora forum. If I see anyone posting there, I send them a PM directing them here. (Only two stragglers so far.)
Re: Two Forums
Thanks to Bill I have found you all again.
I have also posted a link on the MCF so members there can find you again.
Nick, if you need any help with the new forum shoot me a message, happy to help out where I can.

Go for it! (Please!)
Re: Two Forums
I was wondering whether Lefora ever gave any indication if/when the photos would be restored?

I have had no communication from lefora except for the four emails giving my new logon details, and three of them did not work!.johnboy wrote:I was wondering whether Lefora ever gave any indication if/when the photos would be restored?

Re: Two Forums
Hi guys,
Like idris, I have been popping in to the 'LEFORA' site, (I have kept a link to it), and found that if you right click on any of the thread titles, you can save a link to it, for example, go to the 'Lounge' and put your cursor on any of the thread subject titles and right click, you will get an option to...Save link as...just click on this and your save options come up, as I use Google, the link is saved as a Google chrome HTML file, to my Downloads folder.
When opened, you will see all the pictures, (WHEN DISPLAYED, BUT NOT WHILE BEING UPGRADED...!) and comments posted in that thread, saved for posterity.
Can I suggest that any members who still pop into the old forum, (like idris and Myself), to save as many threads as possible using this method.I have not found any problems yet with this method and at least we can save all the older previous pictures, we currently have no access to on this new forum.
Regards,
GHOSTHUNTER.

Also, Brad's MCF site uses the same format (someone correct me if I am wrong). The phpBB logo can be replaced with the old header photo from your Lefora forum as well as a sidebar added (and other features).nickjones wrote:Hi Joe, only the first two or three posts will need approving, then it gives you full access to the board, you will have to bear with me because I am still learning about the new forum and its functions. luckily we have Mick Flack on board and his Moyboyz forum is practically identical.Tinman wrote:How long before our posts are direct and not moderated before posting?
