Hi my friends,

I checked Chritian's page, and found other models, where the label doesn't cover the "Made in England"
For example:
http://www.mboxcommunity.com/cfalkens/M ... f09bpl.jpg
or
http://www.mboxcommunity.com/cfalkens/M ... f07bpl.jpg

I bought it on Ebay from Brasil, the seller is hdta2

I took a photo - but only on my display cabinet - I will lad it tomorrow.

So, my question is open. Do you hear/see other colour variation?

Greetings from Hungary! Peter

Sorry for the late, I just had some time without children to open my display cabinet.

I think it must be bordering on double figures. The majority have been mint, but a couple were playworn which indicates to me that they might well have been a promotional item, some being kept carefully and some being passed to the child(ren) of the house.
The fact that they do not all seem to have come from the same source coupled with the mix of mint and playworn examples indicates to me a likelihood that they are genuine rather than something supplied to the collectors' market latterly by a fraudster. however, that still leaves the question of whether they are code 1 or code 2. Given that the production Lesney label and the monochrome version seem to be identical apart from the colour, it is plausible that these non-standard labels came from Lesney.
Realistically though, it's probably like the SF 19d Yum Yums - we'll never know the full story for certain and each collector will have to make a value judgement as to whether the model is deserving of a place in the collection..

Hi Ergomatic

I love the ergomatic truck, but I am only collecting the tankers at the moment. I have seen a white grill ARAL on ebay last year, have you got one of those? I have only seen that one and would love to get one, but I think it is very rare.

Hi Jazz,
I have a Superfast ARAL tanker, which is not shown, and a purple/gray NAMC too. My 8th cabinet just arrived, now under construction, that is why I not filled yet.
A regular wheeled Aral tanker with chrome or/and white grille.....a red/white Superfast tanker... these are my dreams too :)

Have a nice weekend!

One of the most accurate summaries of the Brazil models I have found is here: http://www.toymart.com/brazilian_matchbox.php

I believe the #32 SF Ergomatic Tanker was issued 1970-71, so you will likely only find the Brazil issue painted in England colors but marked with import tape like these:
