Now that you finally have one, Jason, what's your take on it? Is it a pre-production 9with obvious casting differences) or could it be an extremely limited release to retail outlets?

Hi Hugh, cannot see any other differences with the model so I personally think they were probably sent out with these bases to use up the castings. J

Just picked up this Maserati Bora. Very clean and tidy model and very happy with the base colour.

Thanks Mick it was right in front of me, I notice it is listed with a metallic green base but up until now I have never seen one before.

Just picked up this MB74 Toe Joe in the earlier light metallic lime with 5AR wheels. Also the base is the later type with no pat number, not sure if its hard to find. Just like have the wheel variations, and the condition is good which makes a change.

Glad to add some regular wheel models this month.41b Jag with red hubs and the 49a Halftrack with GP Rollers, both in very good condition.
The highlight for me is the 55d Mercury with the red light, in near mint condition(which needs a nice E box I think). The F box and the other model are also in very good shape.

My double of the halftrack is on ebay, one I got from Nick a short while back.
The Mercury double I will probably add on ebay this weekend if anyone is interested.
