A 'Mini' delight from the local Lego store!

One of my dental patients told me about this kit recently released by the Lego folks. I had to go check it out. And there it was fully assembled in the front window of the shop. I simply had to get one.
You get an idea of scale from the photo with the Matchbox Mini included. It is an absolute delight! The engine and dashboard details are too fun, the plaid seats and wonderful and fully adjustable, the brake handle, shifter and steering wheel all are adjustable, and stowed away beneath the hatch is a very special picnic kit! You've got bread, beverage, cheese and blanket all set aside for you and your sweetie!
And what fun to assemble this monster! HOURS of sheer smiles!

Awesome kit! My grandson loves these kits and Lego design is incredible. What was the price for this kit, if I may ask? Thanks for the pics. Jay

I swallowed hard and handed over my credit card for the $99.99 purchase price.
But with the fun I had assembling that thing I'm glad I did it in hindsight.

That's a very nice kit. Lego is expensive but it has lots of play value (for the young and not so young)

Am i the only one that hates Lego? I feel as though i am for ever picking up god damb Lego pieces up off the carpet, usually after i have just stood on it with my bare feet, Ouch!!!!

Although it is nice, I have never really seen the point in Lego kits. I thought the whole idea of Lego was that you could make an infinite number of different models from one bag of blocks. The kits contain so many bits that are unique that they couldn't be reused for anything.

I agree, but try telling that to the kids. It's popularity through the power of marketing and the amount of brands that Lego has deals with is a marvel. I must admit that we've spent a fair amount on Lego kits in the past and quite often they're broken up and mixed in with a big box of loose pieces eventually. (They're also a pain to dust).

You are not alone, I've no use for that stuff either. However, Greg is a huge "Mini" fan and I'm guessing the attraction was the fact that it's a model of a Mini and not so much the Lego connection.
