GWWP, I hope to be at the NEC too on 28th. (As I always say, you'll recognise me by my whiskers!)

OK Guys, as we are just nudging our way into September, do we want to start 'PM'ing each other our mobile numbers, just so we can connect when we are there, it will be a shame if later we find out on the forum, one of our known forum members was at this event , but we missed them, what do you Guys think, is that OK with those going to NEC.

When I arranged to meet Kay at the Macungie Toy Show earlier last month I told him it would be after the Show was winding down at 3 o'clock. When a veteran detail collector is at a Toy show, there is NEVER enough shopping time to see every stall. If everyone is early to a 9 A.M. Show opening, maybe meeting early is possible. I wish you guys luck because I know even with meeting Kay, he was done with the Show by noon and I had spent the whole day outdoors, and not even been to the many dealers inside by the time they were packing up at 3 when we finally met. Everyone has their pace, and mine is just a crawl at any Toy Show......... :geek: kwakers

Thanks Kwakers, a very valid point.

The intention is to meet-up with forum members on arrival, agree to go our separate ways around the toy fair and meet-up again later in the Day and swap jealous looks at each other's models!

When I met our leader, Nick Jones at an earlier toy fair in Windsor, Berks, my god I suffered, there was I wanting to get round all the stalls and tables and he just crawled along at a snails pace, really slowing me down...so Nick, if your reading this, you don't need to come with us to the NEC, OK, we can manage on our own...Image
