INBRIMA
Hi all,
I am very intresting of all AEC and Leyland trucks with ergomatic cab, including the brazilian issues too.
Do you have any information which of these produced there/colour variations?
Thank you, cheers, Peter

Thank you, Nick!
I checked both pages ( I am regularly using them ), and as I read only hthe SF35 supplied to Brasil, but in Christian's page doesn't include it. I have a red one, do you hear any other colour variation?
Thanks, Peter

Re: INBRIMA
I had no idea that Roly used lables on thier toys, I.E. the side fire truck ones. Do you have a regulat red to compare the colors with? Also, I wonder why the Roly sign was not placed on top of the Made in England?

Re: INBRIMA
I would also be conserned that the label is not covering the "Made in England". It also shows some edge damage suggesting that it may have been removed from another model and placed on this one IMHO.

Re: INBRIMA
I always thought that these were made using castings shipped from the UK, So having the "made in England" on the baseplate might have been a legal requirement.

Re: INBRIMA
Does anyone know if these labels were always machine applied or hand applied, or a mixture?

Re: INBRIMA
Looking at previous examples of the 'ROLY TOYS' and 'INBRIMA' models, I see no consistancy to suggest the labels were applied by a machine. Out of 8 models, 3 labels will be crooked!johnboy wrote:Does anyone know if these labels were always machine applied or hand applied, or a mixture?
I believe this suggests they were applied by hand.

Re: INBRIMA
Thanks Ghosty, I don't know anything about these but anything applied by hand en-masse will obviously vary. What we need is lots of examplesGHOSTHUNTER wrote:Looking at previous examples of the 'ROLY TOYS' and 'INBRIMA' models, I see no consistancy to suggest the labels were applied by a machine. Re: INBRIMA
The biggest problem is that these labels are faked and due to the vast majority of collectors not knowing Brazilian matchbox well enough the fakers can easily lure the unwary.
A very dangerous area to collect. I have 5 or 6 Brazilian models now and i have only bought from sources that i have had on personal recommendations.
