Hi Dave, you finally made it here, where have you been? Love the Snowtrac, nice work.

LOL, not very likely. The top speed on these was pretty slow. While it looks great, a white emergency vehicle in the snow would be a bit of a hazard in itself. Any of the bright safety colors would be realistic. In spite my comments, it's a nice custom and looks great!CrazyDave wrote:This baby will hunt down and eat speeding snow mobiles.

Stealth my friend, invisibility makes it easy to hide. This buggy would prowl up in Alaska. Everybody who's been there knows there are no rules up there.Tinman wrote:white emergency vehicle in the snow would be a bit of a hazard
Also, my Trac has a HEMI and a special police transmission (not factory). This baby could go probably 32 mph.
As to the Mercury cop car, I have a customer that complained about my blue light. I'll trade you for the red one. Beacons are scarce.

After I joined the military I was assigned to an M88. Basically it is a 56ton mobile home on tracks that is used in the recovery of tanks and other armored vehicles. First one I ever had that went over 30mph I was so excited I called my Dad.
His response was "that's 100mph less then your last speeding ticket and your excited?"
Yes Dad, but my last speeding ticket wasn't in a house on tracks.

LOL, perhaps you meant the 1200cc single port VW engine was replaced with a 1600cc dual port unit.CrazyDave wrote: Also, my Trac has a HEMI and a special police transmission (not factory). This baby could go probably 32 mph.
