I just love my #4 gruesome twosomes' especially my prized amber window version, Took me a few years to get my hands on one!!!

You will all note that the amber window version has the open cast to the bottom of the engine bay whilst the others have the closed cast

cheers

As the generic castings go, the Gruesome Twosome is quite a sleek little model.

I'm still not ready to collect them. Yet.

Nice one J,

I bid on a similar pre pro a while ago, but the price went through the roof, way over my budget which was a shame because it was a superb looking prepro which eventually sold for a whopping £509 pounds!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I have attached an image of it for comparison to yours.

Keep them coming

It took me years to track down a #4 Gruesome Twosome with the rare amber glass. A very difficult one to find in my experience.

Still sorting out my collection before selling it. I noticed this had a Yellow interior instead of cream. I've tried & failed to photograph the interior, but it involves holding the rear wheel to one side & clicking the camera at the same time!!!

I have one of these with yellow interior - you're right, it is impossible to see without looking up through the wheel well. It does still look quite different through the purple windows when compared to the ivory interior version, so I think is a cool variation.

Interesting to see the early 5 square slot wheels on a later body casting with the extra engine braces.

Thanks Motorman. Won't be easy to locate a Gruesome with amber windows, especially a minty like yours.
