A very nice collection there Bill.

You can buy repro Pontiac screens, but if you can get hold of an original it is possible to fit them (with a bit of patience and swearing! :D ).

Super collection Bill. There's quite a few I would not mind, Can you tell me what the decals / labels are on the Studebaker?. I think I might have seen another one with these some years ago.

You're thinking of the Wynn's/Iskenderian promotionals on the Vectis page for the 42b (here). We discussed these on the old forum and decided that they were probably code 3.
However, in this particular case, it looks like someone has added USAF decals/labels to the Studebaker.

Thanks, Nick. All but 7 in this lot are variations that I don't have, so they are welcome additions to my collection.

Idris is correct. These are US Air Force decals.

This was in the local classified ads for $50.00, so I couldn't pass is up for just over $1.00 a car (36 RW's, beat up case and 2 hotwheels) .

I was quite surprised to find this 57c when I picked this up:

I very nice model, except for the broken base and missing slide. Anyway, it is a much sought after model and will still display very nicely!

Very displayable gpw 57c! What were the 2 Hotwheels in that case, they could be rare colors too???

I would certainly be proud to display it, I have a few htf in a more played with state than that on my shelves, sometimes more satisfying than buying mint boxed examples is to pick them up in the wild

A very nice find and it will look great on display. Lots of the other models seem to be good too, including a turquoise tipper. Are there any other little gems in there?
