Desert Island Diecast

Post by motorman »

I thought it might be interesting to have the members consider this.........

You are washed up on desert island with no chance of rescue, you are allowed to take 5 Matchbox models onto the island with you. Which 5 models would you take?

Perhaps Nick or one of the other moderators could set up a voting system to see what is the most popular model although i appreciate that this might prove to be a bit difficult to set up with so many RW, SF MOY etc etc models to cover.

In the meantime we could maybe just state which models you would take with you to display next to your coconut tree.

I am off to think of mine.

Good question, motorman.
On the deserted island with only:
February, March, April, May and June model.
from the original Matchbox Calendar Girl 2006.
And maybe even the 5a bus to transport the girls on the island.

what a good thread Ghosty, I'd take my
#15b rw rotinoff with gpw
#22 sf dark purple
#25 dark blue Cortina
#38 chrome forked stingaroo
now then the last space is it matt green #45 group six or bpw #23c bluebird
think its got to be the
#23c , fond memories of it being gifted to me at brentwood many years ago when I first started collecting never knew how special it was until I got my first Ramseys guide many months later
damn you only 5 :D :D
