The NAMC’s “Catalog of all Series Matchbox Models” (first edition) is confused when it comes to the details of the baseplates, but does not seem to contain any unlisted variations.
The AIM “1-75 Series Regular Wheels” catalogue (second printing, 1983) has variation 62-2b which is a two-tongue base, Rentaset model but with fine GPW. (If correct, this could be slotted in as a new code 5 or 6.) A second unlisted model is formed by variation 62-2f which is as Nick's codes 13/14 (i.e. tongue & rivet base, Radio Rentals) but with knobbly GPW. This could be added to the end of the variations table.
Houghton comments that Nick's variation codes 1, 2 and 3 all exist with either front & rear or just front trim, that Nick's code 4 only occurs with front trim, and that all remaining codes have trim to both the front and rear. However, Stannard states that whilst all models have front trim, only Nick's variations codes 1, 2 and 3 occur with or without trim to the rear bumper, all other codes being without rear bumper trim.
U.K. Matchbox did not cover the model.
